The four bees are a key.

 

They are a simple progression to use as a guide through a daily relaxation and motivational routine.

It is an easy sequence for an effective self-guided meditation. The bees work so well for me that

I would like to share them with you.

 

Be Still, Be Thankful, Believe, Begin. Four B’s, Four Be’s.

is an illustration that I find beautiful and helpful.  

 

The idea of knowing what to do next gives a sense of serenity. You know where you are going. There are 4 simple steps and you take one step at a time.

 

Be Still, Be Thankful, Believe, Begin. 

 

After a short while you will find that the combination of the words themselves becomes a key. The phrase becomes second nature, like a little song playing in your head to remind you of what you need at moments when you can’t go through the whole progression. For me, these four words have become like a mantra – a comforting “buzz” that soothes me simply by repeating them in my mind.

 

We will go through the full process, but the real beauty of the bees is their instant accessibility.

The bees are not linked to any specific religion.

Anyone can practice them.

 

If you are experienced in meditation and spiritual awareness, you know that these are basic principles and techniques for stress reduction and motivation.

There are many books and many teachers that will help you with refining the steps that I will suggest.  You can choose the techniques you want to use and combine them to find what works best for you.
